Maria Cawston

Maria is senior programme manager, specialising in the acquisition, integration and transformation of global technology companies.  Through her career she has held Product Owner, Integration Director, Contract Director, sales, business development and risk management roles in technology led international companies.  She has worked from home since the 1990s and juggled being a single parent to two children with a full time professional career.  Maria is an experienced interviewer, coach and mentor.  She has benefited from and is a keen advocate of formal and informal Women in Tech networks in the workplace. 

When not working, Maria is usually running with her dog or photographing the undersides of fungi.  She volunteers as a Friend of Skelton Grange Environment Centre, supporting people of all ages to learn about and enjoy the natural environment; she is also proud to have been a Grace Host since 2016, offering her spare room and a hot meal to asylum seekers and refugees.
