Gail Goodall

Gail studied accountancy at Heriot-Watt and has worked mainly in Financial Services, completing her CIMA training whilst working as a cost accountant at AEGON before moving to NatWest Group.  Gail has been with the bank for almost 15 years, working in Retail Banking, Regulatory Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis teams before moving to Planning & Performance as Head of Planning, Consolidation & Control in 2020.  Previous roles,  including Senior Stress Testing Manager and Head of Central Bank Reporting, have included a broad remit of responsibilities including stress testing, regulatory reporting, change management, risk management and organisation design.

Gail’s current role has involved standing up a new area which includes four new teams, defining the operating model across these teams, and undertaking new processes whilst also trying to make existing processes more efficient.
