Gabriel was born in Barcelona in 1994. He earned a double degree in Physics and Chemistry from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, graduating in 2017. During his time as an undergraduate student, he founded and directed the Autonomous University of Barcelona Physics Student association, that would regularly involve students in science outreach and team building activities. In September 2017, he started an Erasmus Mundus MSc in Material Science, specializing in Energy Materials. During the two years of the program, he spent semesters as a student in Toulouse (France), Warsaw (Poland), Amiens (France) and went on to carry his Master Thesis in Melbourne (Australia). During his time as a student, Gabriel carried on personal projects of different nature such as programming cryptocurrency trading bots and developing entrepreneurial ideas in the Blockchain ecosystem. He did research stays at the Institute of Photonic Sciences (2016 in Barcelona, Spain), the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (2017 in Okinawa, Japan), and the University of Warsaw (2019 in Warsaw, Poland) focusing on Energy Materials. In 2020, he obtained a full Scholarship to undertake a MSc in Business Analytics at Imperial College in London. He joined P&G in 2020 as IT Manager and performed various roles, ranging from Operations Manager to Program Manager for the Data and Analytics Intelligent Operations initiative.
