Deena Gergis

Deena Gergis is an award-winning AI and Data Science expert whose ultimate purpose offering better quality of life for people using AI. With more than 12 years of experience in the field - 10 of which were attained in Germany - Deena has extensive in-depth and wide-ranging expertise in the AI and Data Science fields. During the first half of her career in academia and research, Deena researched Machine Learning algorithms to diagnose and treat various types of cancer. And during the second half of her career in industry, Deena has successfully helped multiple German and multi-national companies to apply Machine Learning to develop cutting-edge products in a wide variety of verticals including sales, marketing, pricing, finance and industry 4.0. Deena is currently a Lead Data Scientist at Bayer. In her current role, she combines the best from academia and industry to develop AI products that will ultimately help people live a healthier life.
