Assistant Vice President of Information Security Administration
David started his IT career 16 years ago as a service desk agent in State street Edinburgh, Ferry Road. David also had Comptia a+ certificate as David was highly interested in system hardware and looking at making a start in a financial organisation. David grew quickly in his role and would often spend time assisting in other projects including security administration & working on tier 1 desktop support issues. David was then offered to assist in transfering the service desk and tier 1.5 desktop support to Wroclaw from Edinburgh which went well. David returned to Edinburgh and was offered a role with one of the external vendors to assist with desktop support 1.5 which David accepted. He worked for Hemmersbach supporting internal users with hardware and software issues and was keen to do all he could to help the customer. David would also travel to other locations within UK to support the company in other locations. After sometime David had a firm grip of most problems and he was looking for the next step. David was offered a position of Assistant Vice President in Security Administration which he gladly accepted and he has been in this role for 4 years supporting a team of 16 team members and responsible for the daily running of system access for the business and clients. David has strong customer service skills and has an interest in most areas of IT.
