Holding degree in Economics, Aksana has over 16 years of experience in IT project management, people management and product management in financial services domain. In her current role Aksana drives the strategy in one of HSBC Investment banking business lines - Derivatives Client Clearing - enabling new products & services while ensuring industry change is understood and adhered to in all strategic platforms.
In this respect Aksana is a key contact point for support functions, represents Derivatives Clearing Business in front to back initiatives and acts as product owner for the platforms delivering these changes. She is facing off against external parties, such as Stock Exchanges, Clearing houses, regulatory bodies and vendors to understand their strategic roadmap, and translate this into HSBC changes required, partnering with impacted IT systems & processes to ensure delivery is achieved in line with 3rd party timelines. She owns the IT strategy & architecture model for front to back infrastructure of Credit Default Swaps clearing, including ensuring an effective work prioritization and delivery sign off process is in place between IT and the front to back functions impacted
